Expertise on the impact of investments on groundwater and surface water
Preparation of detailed analyses and reports on the effects of designed and existing investments on groundwater and surface water. They include:
- Assessment of the impact of depression cone of drainage objects such as mines or groundwater intake to the surrounding areas;
- Analysis of the mine reclamation effects on groundwater and surface water;
- Analysis of pollutants migration to groundwater by farms, gas stations, waste landfills and others;
- The impact of drainage and groundwater pollution on protected areas such as national parks, nature reserves, and Natura 2000 areas.
Expertise on the impact of climate change on water resources and legally protected areas
Expertise include climate change's impact on water balance, river flows, and water levels in reservoirs and wetlands. They focus on the problems of a deepening water deficit and growing drought. In my analyses, I propose recommendations and strategies to minimise the adverse effects of climate change on water resources.
Sylwester Kraśnicki is also the author of non-living environment protection reports for protected areas. These studies analysed, among other things, ground and surface water resources, their risks, and the impact of climate change on the non-living environment of protected areas.
Training and webinars
Conduct training, lectures, and webinars regarding the impact of investments on groundwater and surface water and the impact of climate change on water resources. Training and webinars aim to raise awareness and knowledge among people concerned with the topics.
